Larisa Brown

Larisa Brown is Defence Editor for The Times and a diplomatic and security correspondent for the Sunday Times.

Prior to joining The Times in early 2021, Larisa’s previous roles included Middle East Correspondent, based in Lebanon, and Defence and Security Editor, based in Westminster, for the Daily Mail.

Larisa has reported from multiple conflict zones, including Syria and Libya, and is a British Journalism Awards Campaign of the Year winner for her work highlighting the plight of Afghan interpreters through the Mail’s Betrayal of the Brave campaign.

Larisa is author of The Gardener of Lashkar Gah.
